How would lowering the hours required for 121 make less pilots leave the Air Force? No offense meant to anyone but if an airline has a choice between hiring someone with 250hrs of hiring a military pilot with over 1,500 hours which one do you think they are going to choose? The only way to stop pilots from leaving the military for the airlines is to improve the pay and QOL in the military.
