Thats just my guess though.
Dude, Endeavor is paid a premium for 2 reasons.

One more than half of the pilot group had left or was leaving. The first time they threw some money at the problem it was interpretted by the pilot group as a small severance for our trouble, and the number of guys leaving increased (percentage of pilots leaving in an ever increasing non-linear line). The second program ($20 grand) stopped attrition. After LOA 71, which the company needed to speed up training to keep up with Delta's changing plans, we became the best paid.

The second is Delta screwing over every regional partner (from mesa to air whiskey), and making them 3rd rate next to united and Murican. Delta is a first rate group, but they expect the most and pay the least for regional feed, making them last for people you wanna contract for. When whiskey told delta to come pick up the 200s while endeavor was losing 60 (then 80 with no end in sight) a month, that causes Anderson to do what he did best, make an ego play as great expense at long as it increases customer service.
