Yup.
I'm saying UAL would, or would not, do this but I personally witnessed this exact scenario at another carrier with electronic devices.
They don't have the staffing to bother watching everybody 24/7 but they certainly are capable of going back and looking at everything an individual of interest has done, and long after the fact.
Along with all the other features, the installed "Airwatch" software is very powerful, and totally legal, spyware. (Hint: they even put "watch" in the name.)
