So, Mr. LCA "I have my own devices"; next time you talk to your Asian or South American girlfriend while taxing or with a door close and beacon on, or checking how's your commute flight doing, or texting your boyfriend, or downloading Russian XXX clips in the overnight hotel, just think about it for a second. Does it make a difference that I use my own PED at work?

But using your PED in flight or anytime the flight deck door is closed falls into the category known as MORON that's already been mentioned. So in a nutshell for those of you who still aren't getting it. Don't use your company iPad for personal stuff. Don't use your PED illegally while on duty. And I guess we need to mention for "best" sake don't look at illegal content either.
That way if your stuff does get confiscated and looked at it will not be a problem!
It's really not that tough.
