tips and tricks question for commuting:

If you are required to be "booked" on two flights before your show time, are you required to take the first of the two booked?

Ex: Commuting from SDF to DCA. Two non-stop flights but 1st is at 1205pm and second is at 730pm. Can you book on both but elect to not take the first flight. (that is a huge time difference).
