Both should be a one leg commute out of training. Mostly looking for quality of life. I can't see doing this for more than two to four years. If I can't make it to a major by then, I will need to go back to doing something I can make more money at.
If 2-4 years is your goal, I don't want to be rude but you might want to not even waste your time then. This industry has surprises and you never know what can happen.
