Retirements that exceed that number by many. Just wait till first year pay meets mainline. Delta is smart enough to already integrate procedures. Look at your checklist then go jumpseat on mainline. Delta is delta they're a business and they already know what is about to happen. They're already making the process seamless. Half the new hires maybe more wear the hat "not me till we get something for it". Delta is keeping their regional because they're running a business and keeping the cost low as long as possible.
