The difference is that you are only responsible for being ready for departure for yourself only. If you arrive at the aircraft and it is not ready for departure it is not your responsibility. My other point is that you are not required to be there 45 min during your 3hr callout. look up the new hire guide put out by ALPA recently where they clarify this.
The new hire guide says at the gate ready to depart just like the contract. It's not clear.
Also let's say the plane is there no mx issues and they get everyone on normally. Are you responsible for being ready to push within 3 hrs of notification or can you just stroll up to the gate 3hrs from notification and then sit down and take another half hourish to be ready to push?
