Guys... It's in the FOM. While on duty cleaning of aircraft is not your responsibility. It's really a non-issue. If FA's are withholding the ability for you to do what you need to do that is an issue and should be dealt with accordingly. I'd blow right past pro-stans and go full phone call to the CPO followed by an FCIR and an SAR.

I've only ever had one issue with an FA about a bathroom probably 5-6 years back and she was just special. Nothing to do with cleaning or not. The capt I was with didn't take it very well at all. It was fun to watch.

This whole cleaning thing is simple, just be a normal person and do your job.
