Fatigue in the Field

If due to the schedule, weather, maintenance, and other factors beyond our control, you are fatigued to the point that, “in your professional judgement you cannot continue with a pairing/trip”, than make the call. However, it is hard to justify (although I’m willing to listen) a FAT call following the first leg, of the first pairing or flight, of a sequence.


I'm feeling pressured...
It's funny that the spell checker still will not fix the pesky decision of whether to use the word than or then.
