What's that? You're junior and enjoy of high quality of life in domicile? Or better yet, senior and bid reserve to enjoy a high quality lifestyle in a small international base. Been there done that, I get it.
That's my point, I don't think guys will bid the base for the money, but I'd agree that being at home a lot offers some great intangible value.
The bases that offer high quality schedules AND high pay are becoming few and far between. I'm certain that IAD 787 will offer opportunity for all who want it, but I don't see the flying offing both pay AND QOL to all the pilots in BES compared to other options.
