From the MEC Message Line today:
"The MEC has a well defined protocol in place for selecting the next Negotiating Committee Chairman and members and is now soliciting ALPA members willing to make a multi-year commitment in the service of their fellow pilots.
The MEC will be meeting in a special session on Tuesday, September 25th to consider the initial applicants for the Negotiating Committee Chairman position. If you are interested in serving on the Negotiating Committee, please contact MEC Secretary-Treasurer, Wes Reed at [email protected] to receive more information regarding the process. Additionally, please be sure to have a detailed resume prepared."
Does anybody have any insight on what that protocol is and what exactly they would be looking for in the resume?
Does anybody think it would be possible to serve on the committee and flex at the same time?
Thanks for any answers.
