Take a lesson from the recent history of airline mergers. Make management understand, in no uncertain terms, that you will not agree to a combined seniority list without having a solid, industry leading contract agreed to before signing off on a merger.
That same greed that you complain your management is infected with, will prevail and they will finally see the light of day.
Look at Doug Parker, for example. Now granted, he had a $20 Million dollar personal incentive, but he was tripping over himself to bring the Usairways pilots pay back out of the gutter after 7 years of gladly paying them very little, if they got onboard with a merger with AMR.
Have ALPA notify your management that a merger is going to be very difficult to pull off if the pilots aren't happy. If that's what you're concern is.
News flash- ALPA merger policy IS contract before seniority list as a direct result of Usair/America west.
Frontier is ALPA so the policy would apply
