I get on planes with no APU running all the time with cabin temperature at 85.. taxi out watching the next bird come in on 1 engine...it's F mind blowing...
I turn off the bleed when I leave in the off chance that the ground grew does their job and hooks up the air. It's a limitation still right? If they don't hook it up I'm sorry your airplane is warm. Just hit the bleed button and delay boarding until it's safe.
