I turn off the bleed when I leave in the off chance that the ground grew does their job and hooks up the air. It's a limitation still right? If they don't hook it up I'm sorry your airplane is warm. Just hit the bleed button and delay boarding until it's safe.

I assume all of our air carts are broke if air isnt hooked by the time im out of the flight deck, so I leave the air on.
I get what you're saying, wish more guys GOT IT

If the APU bleed is on and they hook of air after I leave the plane, they just broke the limitation, not me.

Pretty sure they are not responsible for knowing that limitation. They are "supposed to" hook up the air unless we tell them to pull it. My assumption is they know how to do their job. If they don't then that's bendos job. He doesn't even show up to work so it's no surprise the ramp doesn't either
These clowns are supposed to many things, they dont. So if the air isn't hooked up, I run the air. No way am I hanging out in DFW to wait for them to hook the air up before I leave and I don't like leaving the plane hot because we have too many gutless CAs who will board that plane up at 85 degrees because they dont want to "make waves".
You do what you're doing if it works for you, at least you're running the thing. So many fools aren't running it. So thanks for running it.
