Default Blowing Crap into the wind...Disinformation

I was just reading another Cargo thread about the current hiring status and furloughing of crews for an Asian Carrier. Yes, I'm one of those currently work for an Asian Airline. I guess we're all suppose to be acting in good-faith here in the forum and helping those in-need of information to further their careers, but it really "miffs" me when people write totally fabricated postings. I've seen it on other threads also and know for a fact that someone is blowing crap into the wind just for the sake of making themselves feel good. I know that most of us here are honest, but I take it that some people are writing crap (disinformation) just to throw people off their own job seeking track (lesson the competition) or just ****ed at the company they are working for. We're all are under a veil here, it would be really interesting to see what percentage of pilots who claim to be at that air carrier, are actually working there, worked there at one time or really are pilots? It's good to do get the "intel" here and it's still a good place to get some information, but the bottom line, do your own due deligence and network face-to-face if you can with pilots/reps to get the true information. I've had a few times where applicants came by our hotel as we were checking in/out or coming out of Customs and ask us for information about our company. Most decent pilots, won't blow you off and will understand your situation. Yeah, most of us might be tired after a 9 hour all-nighter from Tokyo, but I've never seen one pilot I know tell someone to kiss-off. Don't get discouraged just because someone posts something in a negative manner (yes, it certainly might be true but it also might be a disinformation ploy). I'm not going to get into a "****ing" contest of whose right and whose wrong and I'm not calling anyone out....just be honest and factual, what you post, can affect others whose making life altering decisions.

Enough said.
