I would normally agree, however look at the new system. I don't think the computer could care less how you got your hours. Whether you're mil or civilian, all the computer is looking at is the number of hours you have. A human doesn't even see your resume until step 3 of the process. For the numbers they are hiring, I'm sure there are plently of civs w/ heavy, intl time and the number of hours required.

I was a KC-135 IP/EP before crossflowing to the Herc. Unfortunately I only accumulated about 3K hours for various reasons. If the mins are 5K, I'm not too hopeful at this point. No telling tho, guess we'll see what happens...
