I'm sure there is a lot of value in a computerized "rack and stack" but I think the UPS system might go a bit too far. Hard to say how smart a computer system is...
Well, then I guess JetBlue goes too far too? They pioneered all-computer application system and do not accept resumes at job fairs either (unless they changed it in the last 2 years or so)
Before I get out I'm gonna start attending seminars and what not. I've actually emailed Kalitta and NetJets and both said to reapply when I hit my six month point. I'm gonna do the Airine Apps thing here in October and submit my app to SWA at the same time.
Don't forget that all the "legacies" are hiring again (Continental, Delta, Northwest, United, and USAirways); also think about other "heavy" operators: Gemini, Omni, World, etc. Good luck to you.
Pretty sure whatever it is, it'll be better than gettin shot at in Iraq!

Yeah, as the old saying goes around here, apply to all you can. I have sent apps in to almost everyone you mention, but NJ and Kalitta were nice enough to reply

On the JB system you don't need to turn in a resume cuz you can paste it in with your app. That I don't mind so much...seems like someone will see it at some point.
I know all the Legacies are hiring, but I'm not sure I want to go that route. Sure as hell will apply though.

PS 767 the reason we use acronmyns is bcuz we've lost too many brain cells and can't really remember real words anymore
BTW "AD" = Active Duty
