Some of the pilots on that website walked the picket line the last go around. You may not like this contract today, but it was hard fought. Picking up opentime is allowed by the contract. No one should end up on a "list" because of it.

It was a pretty immature stunt, and may be costly too.

I take direction from the MEC, not from some rogue pilot.
They told the passengers it was wx to not have to compensate. If that's what they say that's what they have to own.

Btw some pilots also picked up during furlough. It was contractually legal but that doesn't make it right.
