Once you hold R1, you basically can write your own schedule. That being said after a year or so of seniority, in general(I understand this will vary greatly with base), how hard is it to get blocks of days off. I plan on using my travel benefits to the full extend and would like to be able to have at least 6-7 straight days off a month. I can do that with SAP, is that feasible on the Skywest end. To clarify, either way I won't be commuting for the long term. The schedule is not the only factor I've considered. It's more of a tie breaker for me to make a final decision. Thank you in advance.
Possible, but.... sounds like you understand it's completely based on where you stand in domicile. Seat seniority can vary greatly from base to base. What would be possible at 1 year in ORD or DTW is completely different than LA or SF. However, everything is fluid. Domicile, new flying, loss of flying, upgrades, attrition, fleet swaps, exc.. Nobody really knows.

If someone is telling you that something WILL happen at any regional 1+ year from now, especially related to seniority, I would go ahead and stop listening.
