Look back a few posts and you will see the trip statistics for 2-day, 3-day and 4-day trips. Minimum days off are 11. In October in MSP, a senior line will get you 17 or 18 days off.

So, on reserve, plan on something like: 3 on, 2 off, 4 on, 2 off, 5 on, 2 off, 3 on, 3 off, 4 on, 2 off, 1 on.

As a senior line holder, you could have: 1 off, 3 on, 3 off, 3 on, 4 off, 3 on, 6 off, 3 on, 3 off, 2 on.

Or...anything in between so long as it is legal time and rest wise. Seniority is everything when it comes to schedule. It is easy for a senior pilot to bid a line with a stretch of 5-6 off at the end of the month. Then, the following month, bid a line with 4-6 off at the beginning, and PRESTO, instant 9-12 day "vacation."
