So when the AV days are removed, then it's a confirmed way the scheduler has released you from the phone standby of 4 hours. Here's the issue, if the scheduler knows you are picking up a trip on the AV days, why can't he just assign it to you and screw you out of the extra pay?

As for the phone standby of 4 hours; I saw GOCATS67 (above) show the requirements of when the 4 hours occurs. But what are the limitations of the flying they can assign you? Can you only be assigned a trip that has a show or a departure time within the 4 hours?
