I can book a js in business status if I travel to domicile within 3 days of a trip, R-day or training (i.e. A normal commute 99% of the time).

But I can use staging to do the same thing as long as I'm going from my "residence airport" to domicile. This gets me lower priority, shorter lead time to cancel and restricts my city pair.

So, as far as these two options, nothing has changed from what I can tell. I always book business to commute and will continue to do so. Why would anyone book staging when they're going from home to domicile within 3 days of any event?
