Oh yeah!!!! This was fun, coming out of Indiana to get to Hot Springs Arkansas. We were just southwest of Indy when we got a re-route via St. Louis, then SGF(Springfield MO), then direct. By the time we criss-crossed, and were only 40nm out of SGF did they turn us direct. They barely had the freq. up by the time we got there, maybe a 5 minute lead time. It all worked out, but cost us 30 extra minutes in a TBM
Wow, a huge event that really effected our National Airspace System, you got to your destination safely and only a little behind and you are ****ed that you had to go out of your way. The controllers busted there ass that day to keep all of you safe and you seem to be angered that you had to go STL.
