You are correct in that we can't and shouldn't be fashioning ourselves as the behavior police all over the place. But there are (rare) occasions where we need to "own" this profession, and sometimes that extends beyond the cockpit door out into the gate area or underneath on the ramp. It's rare, and the point of this thread in the first place.
