Yes, it would have just looked more dramatic b/c the Boeing would likely have stalled so you would probably have seen a roll into the trees instead of the Bus sitting there in Alpha prot just above the stall. Plane crashes either way, I guess one could argue that the deal was less violent b/c it didn't stall, although I don't think that makes what they did any better.
