If NWA profits go up in the next few years he could own about ten million in stock. His goals should be effectiveness (doing the right thing) and efficiency (doing it the right way).
IMHO: There is no efficiency in operating two regionals. Mesaba is on "a high." Read the posts by recent hires in this thread. Then read the two Compass threads. They are coming apart at the seams.
If they both have the same boss , why are they so different and what will the future for both be ?

Sounds reasonable and "efficient" to me.
