1. Very. Thought a LOT of pilots commute through Seattle and the flights can be pretty full in the summer, so be sure to plan ahead.

2. Everybody has the same schedule essentially. There's a first and second shift for each month, where first shift works from the 1st to the 15th, and second shift works from the 16th to the end of the month. There is sometimes a day of fudge factor built in depending on what works best for whoever you trade out with. For example, in St. Mary's 2nd shift would come out on the afternoon for the 15th and fly the second half of the day, and 1st shift would usually leave at the same time. First shift would take over on the 30th/31st, etc. This is because that's when the dash flight goes in and out from Anchorage, and it seems to work pretty well. As far as day to day schedules, you're usually on duty from either 730-2130 or 0800-2200, depending on the base. You usually don't work a full 14 hours unless there are a bunch of charters. Again, as an example, in St. Mary's were were usually driving back to the house around 1800-1830 and eating dinner by 1930.

3. Housing is provided. Depending on the base, there are either houses or apartments provided where you will live with the rest of your crew. You pay "rent" to the company for some liability reasons I believe, but it's essentially reimbursed with per diem.
