1. Pilots have been removed from the equation totally from hiring. Ask anyone at United, American, Delta or Southwest if they can walk your stuff in and get you hired. Nope. Southwest doesn't even look at pilot recommendations until after the interview.
2. If that were the case, then no one from Freedom A or anyone at Go Jet would ever be hired. Got plenty of proof to the contrary on this also.
3. Majors don't give two craps about regionals. They gave the flying away in the first place because it was "beneath them".
Regardless of where this TA went, it was going to have 0 impact on ones ability to get hired out of Mesa.
