Anyone hear what the plan is for Indy transition from classic to LDS 76s? It would seem they have to excess (or it's new contract equivalent) and open an Indy 76 base with the LDS equipment. Since each crew position is geographic AND equipment specific Indy classic 76 and Indy LDS 76 are two different crew positions.

When MEM transitioned from Classic to LDS there was no manning base swap out. Plan on them transitioning (Difference Training) all of the pilots over a 3 month window. Once you take the difference course you will no longer be qualified in the classic and your next rip will be the two SLF legs. There will be some confusion as scheduling figure out that no they can't draft you for that trip. At least that how it will work out if they do it like they did before.
