UPS hires without a 4 year degree. Not a showstopper, but not common either. Commensurate experience w/o degree is probably weighed in the decision. Since you have so many hours, etc and working on degree with end date, I'd would believe UPS considered qualified and hirable.

Personally, At a large company, I wouldn't think so since am in the opinion that HR is not limited to either you or the other applicant. If you both are personable, meet the requirements, etc you will both get a job. Maybe one goes in the pool,etc. Now at the corporate level the masters may break one out because may only be one position.
