It goes without saying, but obviously the 3 month pilot is not a captain yet. He has merely been AWARDED that status. But it is good to see movement for the new guys.
You're a recruiter, right? Since when is there a "future LAX base?" There have been rumors of LAX re-opening since it was shut down, but it's a lot of wishful thinking. Last anyone heard from management, LAX is not happening except in online forum rumors.
