Speaking of crash pads, the company has now made 4 beds in one of the Denver crew houses available to commuters for a nominal fee. First come, first served.
PDX just got a lot more commutable with the August schedule. There are now a few overnights in a row for crews, which I personally like a lot. Show time is 1345 when you start a trip, and you're usually done before 1100 at the end, so it works pretty nicely.

I still wouldn't commute to PDX if I weren't at least in the western US, though. Then again, I absolutely hate commuting anyway.
