No captain should look down at that type of experience. Everybody has to start somewhere, and if you can take your qualifications and land an RJ job, the more power to you! Just remember that attitude is everything...have fun but keep your head into the game and be a good team player.

Upgrades are getting quicker here all the time. With just a little bit of simple math it's quite easy to see a Captain bid in 2 years or less. SH recently sent out a memo saying he would lower the requirements to 2000tt for upgrades if he has to.
