Literally none of those airlines pay 23000+ bonuses to all the pilots.
Only Endeavor does.
Well sorta. They all pay around 20k signing and their hourly rate is higher. PSA has a second year and third year kicker to keep it competitive. They're all still lower in year two though, but with their benefits being better it's an easy sell.
PSA: 21k with type (15k wo)
Pdt: 20k with type (15k wo)
Envoy: 20k with type (15k wo?)
All of their hourly is higher than ours and they get commuter rooms.
PSA and envoy also get that 10k per year kicker until they upgrade then get a CA retention bonus I believe.
However, look at Air Wisconsin's new package for real inspiration...
First year $35
Second year $41
8% 401k match
25% insurance premium share
$57,000 in sign-on bonus. Which is the highest in the industry. First installment of $5,000; paid on first paycheck. $26,000 to be paid upon completion of IOE, and $10,000 to be paid after first anniversary. $8,000 is to be paid out quarterly in year three if the pilot has not been upgraded to Captain. The remaining $8,000 is paid to pilots who join Air Wisconsin from a Part 91K, 121, or 135 carrier with an ATP and type rating in an aircraft greater than 12,500.
So if you go with a type you will have received 49k in bonuses within the first 13 months if I understand correctly.
