The rest of your points I already admitted in the original post. Sure, if you're there for awhile, get comfortable with your schedule and vacation it can be hard to leave. But we've had dozens of 7+ year people move on this year. If you want to be valuable in corporate aviation you need to get your multi ATP and some jet time. No one is going to want a 5,000 hour PC-12 pilot to fly their challenger if the economy gets shaky again.
We can talk about it for days .. there is no 100% stability anywhere all I m saying is depends what you want in life .. well there are military life time pilots . Their life is covered with all the benis .. right.. Some look at it as a hobby to fly something easy .. what our conversation is about is first timers in aviation.. and you are right in steps what to do . Before they see some big money will take years and years .Some expect 150k right away.. . and what's big money 100k 300k .. ? BTQ , TW , surf are good companies to start then move on . Now see the posts of complaints.. some are ok but most are BS . Some do not realize in their next job they will be doing similar stuff.
I just suggested the poster here to apply for TW cause the guy spent months waiting for BTQ. TW is well established biz and pays reasonably good for a beginner..
