This makes no sense. Delta isn't adding 100 additional aircraft its replacing aircraft. Yes they are taking some 900 routes, but Compass and Go-Jets are much worse off than us. History repeating itself, is the Regional Pilot accepting the crap that's always thrown at them.
This is the best Position our pilot group has ever been in and you're still thinking the worst for us. REALLY?? What smoke and mirrors? We have actually added Aircraft, Bases and hundreds of Pilots.
I don't get it.... It's this attitude that has accepted Crap for the past 20 years. It's time to ask first for what we are worth. If you want career progression go to the one Regional that has a flow and is a 7 year wait. Let the bonus expire. If you want a raise ask.
If you want career progression, update your apps and improve your resume. Or go to Go-Jets and flow to Spirit.
I agree. Regional lift is too cost competitive to get rid of. Our group whines when we scale up NYC and now when it looks like we finally have growth and movement from NYC to elsewhere due to Cseries, we complain about that. Rjs will be reduced but not go away. Consolidation is happening already and it wasn't us that got folded. We're well paid with good schedules and a positive future. Sky isn't falling.
