I'm guessing that rolling thunder could be very lucrative for the MD88 pilots stuck on reserve. I hope the WS and RT become a better deal than a regular line would have been. The previous post about the created rotations is spot on. Although not in the MD88 category, I routinely drop one or two trips and hold out for a scheduling created trip that is better.
