I just got off Reserve in MEM as an FO, for 3 and 1/2 months. If nothing changes then you will definitely need a crashpad. In September I only flew 18 hours, 35 hours in August...so you can make your own assumption. I'm sure it'll pick up with the holidays and such, but they barely used me on reserve. I didn't care b/c I live in MEM so I just hung out with my wife and kid all the time. But, as a commuter, that's a lot of hours to hang out in ops!
