Does our union have a position on recruiters giving out information contrary to workplace rules?
Look, I'm not sure what's being told to prospective new hires? And how can the recruiters be held accountable for giving out that so called bad information unless it was in writing? They are not tax experts, and I'm sure that there are other ways to find out more about the 401k than a pilot recruiter. You got to do a little research man. Most companies have a short wait to enroll in their 401k. This is not that uncommon.
