Actually, you may be right....word on the street is NWA has ordered the E195 to replace the DC-9. Don't know what that means for compass, but if NWA wants the planes quick the could convert options.
Traveled from Miami to Dayton, OH and back last weekend. Talked to every airport bartender, senior citizen over 85, TSA personnel with IQ above 90 and restroom cleaning staff. Their collective opinions resulted in the following conclusions:
Compass E-175s to NWA. (interim DC-9 replacement)
NWA Purchases E-195s or E-1000 (DC-9 & Air Bus replacement)
Compass pilots given option of Mesaba SAAB Street Capt (if qualified) or
NWA hire as new FO.
The rest room janitor near DTW Pinnacle gate insisted Mesa would offer Compass pilots China CRJ street Captain employment.
