A kid who grew up in NY city (me that is) would it really be that bad? ... I will miss the beach.
I live in NYC and commute to SDF. I can't imagine being there full time. I don't really care how much house I can buy in SDF if I'm not going to be happy living there.
And yes, you'll miss the beach. I've been at the beach every day this week and I'll be fishing tomorrow.
