Since retirements are even greater at American Airlines, would you go to AA instead of UAL? Ual will be retiring @3.5% every year and AA is retiring @5.5% a year.
Good luck getting the call from American. Their flow agreements have a large portion of every class and off the street is few and far between. If you live in one of their bases I would guess that JetBlue, Southwest, Delta, or United would call before them.
