The current junior Cap out in SFO is 9269 after the most recent vacancy. Figure there will be 150ish retirements in the next 4 months and that should also be about how long it takes to run the vacancy bids for next summer's flying.

So, by then the current junior guy would be about 9100. If the rumor comes true about the used planes, and more importantly, a good number are going to actually be in use by next summer, then I think somewhere between 10k and 10.5k for the junior Captain bid is possible.

Hopefully next week we will get some info on all these rumors.
