Even if it were less, how much more work is one doing, how much more time from home, to get that extra $.. and is it worth it?
I know of a few guys that just needed that fourth stripe. More power to them. One had never been a 121 CA before and wanted to be the king. Whatever floats your boat. Me personally it's about days off and money. The perfect balance is on the fleets that happen to have bunk beds.
There's a reason almost every WB FO can be a captain on any equipment except WB CA. The balance between money and time off is nearly impossible to match.
How many hours does one have to work to get the same as Captain guarantee?
