Performing the required tasks (maneuvers) to PTS (ACS) Commercial standards is one thing, but adding the dimension of “teaching” the maneuvers and critique/evaluating of “student” performance takes it to a whole new level. It might be possible to achieve this concurrently, but in reality, this is ALOT to take on all at once.
We have taught maybe 6 of these in the last year: ME Commercial followed by SE Com then CFI/ME and CFI/SE and CFII all part 61 using our old Apache and a C172.

Get the lesson plans from
www.backseatpilot.com and build them up for the airplane(s) you plan to teach in. Practice teaching every lesson to anyone that will listen.
