I strongly agree with getting the results sooner, but I think you are needlessly offering to concede a shortened bidding window as it does not address the underlaying issue:
Other airlines have their awards before we start even start bidding.
Fix that, and the problem is addressed.
As background, LUAL's bidding window was pushed later in the month as a concession in bankruptcy as it gave marketing more time to "tweak" the flight schedules.
I'd suggest that a major airline that does not know it schedule 45 days in advance, but yet is selling tickets for those flights, has a problem.
