The 20th of November would be just fine with me...as long as it was for the JANUARY Bid month.

When PBS did the 1st run through, it probably gave you what you wanted. As it iterated, people below you who know how to game the system were able to force flying into their trips to satisfy the global solution, so it had to wreck your schedule to do it. Bidding ability > seniority.

I will add however, that the last time I complained about this with a SSC rep the response was the company was not willing to move the monthly bid process forward for the stated reason above.

I'm sure anything is negotiable.....for a price.
And reserve/secondary lines were awarded on the 24th. Under the 1970/71 contract it was even worse. I don’t know when in actuality they came out but the only contractual protection was “by the first on the month”

I’m not sure we want to see what the price to negotiate is. If you have to ask, you can’t afford it.

I do, but writing a PDR for something that is already contractual is a waste of time. This has to be negotiated during Section 6. The Company is complying with the contract, so there is no violation. Unless I'm wrong, a PDR is for a violation of our CBA.

Exactly...there is no violation here. Please don't clutter up the PDR system more than it already is (ie, missing dinner rolls). Let your reps know.
