I'd suggest that a major airline that does not know it schedule 45 days in advance, but yet is selling tickets for those flights, has a problem.

Bottom RSV EWR 320 guy here , did anyone else just getting the exact opposite of what they were trying to get ? Didn't know if this was a common thing due to being December and all. And no I didn't even ask for Xmas off

I strongly agree with getting the results sooner, but I think you are needlessly offering to concede a shortened bidding window as it does not address the underlaying issue:

Under c2000 preferencing closed no later then the 18th, awards by the 20th. . 20-B-1

Color my memory faulty. I seriously don't remember the awards arriving so late.
I will add however, that the last time I complained about this with a SSC rep the response was the company was not willing to move the monthly bid process forward for the stated reason above.
I'm sure anything is negotiable.....for a price.
