I know what he's trying to do. Get a four year degree to get out of doing a few hundred hours, as I said. The difference between seeking a restricted ATP and meeting full ATP minimums is a few hundred hours, and he's trying to get to it with a four year degree.

The ATP only requires 1500 measly hours. Is it such a freaking hardship to simply get 1,500 hours of experience before applying that people are seeking to get a four year degree to get around needing 1,500 hours (getting to the restricted)?

The gotta-have-it-now generation will apparently do anything to get out of doing anything to get there. He's already got one four year degree. Go get another? By the time he gets through doing the 30 credit hours or so of classes needed to earn the new degree, he could have flown off triple the hours, and been paid to do it.
